It's beginning to look a lot like....
So I saw this at the store yesterday, and was intrigued, but not ready to commit to buying an entire 2 liter. But I definitely will pick it up if I see a smaller one, especially after reading this review. The cola wars are alive in well at our house, with Husbo preferring Pepsi, and me being a hardcore Coke (usually diet) gal. I've had my first eggnog-laced coffees, thanks to our milk delivery, and they have been better than I had hyped them up to be. Bring on Christmas!
This is the last of the yarn to be done up for presents- the orange isn't quite as bright, although it is a nice slightly red-orange. The black, which I realize you probably can't see, it cut up netting for a purse from Erika Knight's Simple Knits with a Twist for a Christmas gift exchange. I am curious to see how it will turn out- I have a feeling the knitting will take about as long as the cutting of the netting. Definitely not a project for the perfectionist at heart- you try cutting perfectly even one-inch wide strips through 7 yards of net. I have a feeling it will turn out fairly even, though (at least that's what I'm telling myself after putting the effort into the cutting, and cutting myself twice- that's what I get for using the nice scissors my mom gave me last Christmas).
My other scarf is nearly done- about half of a ball left. I'm not sure if I'll post a pic, since it's for one of my regular readers, but we'll see. And because I can't resist, here is a pic of my daughter (on the right) with her almost twin, T, who was born only six days prior. I'm sad that I wasn't able to get the shot of them kissing.

what beautiful little girls. hee hee
