On the edge
I like to think of myself as a risk taker. I consistently wear white pants when Miss Scarlett is visiting. It's a rare day that I drive the speed limit (as my multiple tickets can attest). And in knitting, I rarely check the errata.
Take example one-
I made the One Skein Wonder in less than 24 hours, and even though I knew there was some errata (which I didn't bother to check), I didn't look at it, figuring it would work out ok. While it's not a major change to the pattern, I definitely had a little armpit cleavage going on. I'm so happy with the results (I had a rogue CE skein that feels softer than any other CE I've used- I can't decide if it's because I'm definitely a girl who loves the Hard to Get anything or just a freak of nature), and think it'd be the perfect warmer upper (I was the only one who wasn't cold last night) for the rest of the summer.
We had a great knitting meetup last night at St. Mark's Coffeehouse, one of my favorite Denver java joints. Most of the usual suspects were there-
Libby, Stacey and Michaele (who has a fun contest going on- try to win yourself some Noro!) and
Amy, Wanda, Lesley and Jenifer. Cyn was also there, as is evidenced by the small peep of her green sweater and hella organized pattern book resting on the table.
Caffiene, carbs (we ended the night at Pasquini's, with their to die for breadsticks) and cotton- that's my kind of night on the town. Like I said, I'm edgy.

although i can't see your one-skein wonder too well, it looks like it fits just fine to me.
i have a question for you. after picking up the seed stitch edge, the pattern says to seam. what did you seam? thanks for your help.

I had the underarm issue with my OSW too - you mentioned errata, but I couldn't find any when I looked for it. Where can you find it?

OOH! I wish I'd read this earlier. Guess what I just made? Yep, a one-skein wonder, and of course I didn't check the errata as well. I'll FO it later this weekend ... but it is great!! I couldn't keep my eyes off of yours Thursday night (that's why I was pulling a "general contractor"), so I felt I had to have one. Thanks for the inspiration!!

Can you direct someone to where the errata for OSW is located? I checked Glampyre's blog and didn't see anything.
I didn't think you had any armpit cleavage happening and it looks great. I MUST start mine soon, esp. since I have all this free time lately (hehe!).
And yes, you are so-o-o-o-o-o edgy! ;-0

The errata has to do with the row count once you are finished with all of your increases. This is the type of error that really doesn't "bug" too much because it's about checking and rechecking rows. Suffice it to say, as long as you have enough stitches on your needle when you are finished with the increases, who cares how many rows you have finished? (But that is just me; I tried out the pattern before it was published and didn't catch this row count error). Anyway, it shouldn't matter too much....That is the beauty about this pattern. Just knit until it fits!
I think the errata corrected the row count by two...Two extra rows.

Wow, Cathi--you do live on the edge (white pants?) I think OSW looks great on you... no problems show in the picture.
I love the pics of your knit nights! :)

I like it a lot! I should make that. I need quick, satisfying projects right now - my secret project is just too huge...
