I was trying to wait to post my Marker Mania markers until I received all of them, but I got two in the mail yesterday and I just can't restrain myself any longer.
From left to right, markers from Katie (the first two sets), Katie and Renee. You can also see closeups here, here, and here. I am so happy that I did this exchange, because even though I have close to 70 markers (not including Clover ones), I have maybe 5 that are beaded. It's been so cool to see what everyone has done, and I can't wait to put these babies on some of my projects. Thanks, ladies! You can also see shots of four of the five sets I did here, here, here and here.
I was tagged for the idiosyncracy meme by Lynne, but I 'm waiting to do that only because I wanted to share things that I've never talked about. Ok, and maybe she was right, it's hard to narrow it down to just 5.
O- and a note for my local girls- Woolen Treasures is having a sale this week to celebrate their new location. 30% off all cotton yarns, 20% off all other yarns (they have Alchemy!) and 15% off all notions and books. They have a great selection there, and you can stop for a cinnamon bun on the way there and back.
Hi Cathi - I just got my mail today and was so sad to see the sale at woolen treasures (of course I would have gone!), but I was overjoyed with your wonderful package. It was so great! I love the stitch markers, especially the zenifer, but also the mahjongg ones, and of course the dice are great, and the starbucks card will be *so* used, and the CDs will be listened to on the way to the Cape. Thanks, thanks and thanks again!! A more appropriate thanks will be forthcoming, but it was really great. Talk to you soon!

Hey there, I wanted to let you know that a nice lady at Canada Post last night talked me into waiting until Friday to mail your package, since I'll be crossing the border then and it'll be waaay cheaper to send them from the States! So it will be there soon. And today, your stitch markers came in the mail! Thanks so much, I love them. Will post on my blog in a few minutes.

Cool stitch markers! It's always fun to receive gifts in the mail! Makes the drudgery of regular so much better. The ones you made were pretty cute too.
I'd like to go back to Woolen Treasures but I must restrain myself! Maybe I can pick up some yarn in Atlanta.
