It's time
While I feel like I earned 30 a long time ago, it's not really a fair statement to those of my friends that have been there. Let's just say that I turned in my rockin' twenties sometime amidst shooting two kids out of my privates, getting married, having a mortgage and raising said kids, all before I hit 25.
So today marks that day, when I finally cross that threshhold, into what I think is an awesome decade for women in general, hopefully for me in particular, and to that I say halle-fucking-lujah.
Happy birthday and welcome to an awesome decade of your life. I only hope that as I knock on 40's door in two years that it is so kind. My motto: kick and scream all the way! It's a great time period of your life.

Happy birthday! No insult to you, but I kept forgetting that you were still in your twenties. I have that disturbing habit of thinking that all my favorite online friends are the same age that I am. Of course, I keep thinking that I am younger than my 40 years. Let's split the difference and meet at 35 :-).
